Rescue

We help horses in need. Each individual horse has a story to tell. When we help a horse that has suffered from the hands of humans and supporting them through their journey to recovery, their returning strength is one of the most rewarding aspects of our work.

Sanctuary

We care for over more than 19 horses and ponies, every single day at our sanctuary forest in Ibiza. The horses we rescue who cannot be ridden or rehomed, whether that’s for health or behavioral reasons, will always have a safe and loving home with us.

Behaviour

Many of our horses and ponies come from situations of terrible neglect or even cruelty. Others may never have encountered a human being at all. We use specialised training methods based on the scientific principles to train them in the most humane and ethical way possible.

Sponsorship

As a sponsor of Can Mayol rescue centre the horses will have a better life and we might even are able to rescue more horses from terrible situations thanks to your sponsorship. And in exchange, we can promote your business too. That’s what we call a win-win. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss a sponsorship.

Donate

Even the smallest amounts of individuals can make a difference. To give you an idea of what we can do with your donation we wrote down what we can do with several amounts. From food for a month, to a camera system, we can definitely use any donation right now. Whether you want to donate just once, or frequently (every month or every year). Give our rescued horses a better future and help us save more horses.

We need your help

  • Giving horses in need a future at our rescue centre is like horse heaven in a magical forest of Ibiza.
  • The rescue centre is led by a passionated owner and a group of volunteers.
  • The horses get attention every day, 3 times a day food and fresh water.
  • We don’t believe in horses put in stables the whole day we let them roam in the forest or on the big paddocks.
  • A vet is coming every month for a check up as well as the hoof smith who comes every 3 months.
  • When you read all above and you would know that all of this is payed by one lady for years. All her money went into rescuing and the recovering of horses. Now she needs the help of the community. The money is gone but her dream still exist and she and the horses need your help.
Help us taking care of all the horses and give them the future they deserve!
